Kastaņas is a haven of silence and serenity, a place to enjoy nature and listen to the chattering of birds.

The cozy log cottage is located in a picturesque place, surrounded by the forest on the bank of the Kaibala river, in the countryside of Lielvārde. Before enjoying your breakfast on the spacious terrace, you can take a barefoot stroll in a generations-old apple garden or skinny dip in the large pond right next to the house. During the day, you can lay back in a hammock and watch nature humming, and the evening can be spent enjoying sauna rituals. We recommend spending the starry nights in the hot outdoor tub.

Fans of active leisure can use the basketball and volleyball court next to the house. The owners also rent out SUP boards which you can take for a ride along the Daugava river nearby. The vast green area around the cottage allows for erecting your tents and setting up a bonfire to prepare delicious soup in the large cast iron pot.

Special care has been taken of our youngest guests – the outdoor playground has a swing and slide as well as a sandbox and climbing nets.

The total area of the holiday cottage is 120 m2. The ground floor has a spacious hall with a fireplace which can host up to 30 persons. Next to it is a kitchen (equipped with dishes, electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, etc.), sauna, shower and bathroom. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms with exits to a balcony, and a living room.
